Best Beauty Moments at the 2023 Met Gala

Here, all of our favorite beauty looks to come out of this year's Karl Lagerfeld-themed Met Gala

Entertainment's biggest fashion event has finally arrived. Known for its grandeur, the annual Met Gala has once again delivered some iconic looks according to this year's theme – Karl Lagerfeld.

Earlier today, stars like Doja Cat, Jessica Chastain, Anne Hathaway, and more paid tribute to the late fashion icon by debuting their extravagant outfits on the white carpet, complemented by some of 2023's best beauty looks to date.

Take a look at some of our favorite beauty moments below:

Dressed up as Karl Lagerfeld's cat Choupette, Doja Cat showed up in a bejeweled hooded gown from Oscar de la Renta with added cat ears. She used makeup prosthetics to resemble the feline and opted for a sharp cat eye wing and thin brows to play up the look.

Lil Nas X worked with makeup artist Pat McGrath to live his silver fantasy. The rapper covered himself in glittery paint and jewels from head to toe, and donned a feline-inspired mask that took from Lagerfield's cat Choupette as well. He complemented the ensemble with long silver acrylics on his nails.
Celia St. James no more. Jessica Chastain said goodbye to her signature red hair for a day and went platinum blonde to pay tribute to the designer himself. The actress went full Charlotte Tilbury for her glammed-up look and completed it with Lagerfield's iconic black sunglasses.

There's nothing we love more than a good structural hair piece. Created by hairstylist Alexander Armand, Quinta Brunson's hair (along with her neat laid edges) captured the clean and demure look associated with Chanel and Lagerfield's creations.
Blackpink's Jennie went full Chanel at the Met Gala this year. The singer opted for a soft pink glam look using only Chanel Beauty products. She styled her hair straight, braided her fringe across her head, and accessorised it with a puffy white flower.
Emma Chamberlain came decked out in purple. To match her ensemble, the personality opted for a smokey purple eye, soap brows, and kept her hair neatly slicked and parted. She finished the look with a matching purple headband.

Salma Hayek was a vision in red. The actress accessorized her flowy dress with matching red lipstick and bows on her bubble-braided hair.
Cardi B never fails to impress. The rapper donned a straight silver wig that's reminiscent of X-Men's Storm. She completed the look with long whispy lashes, a subtly-lined eye, and peach lips.

Anne Hathaway understood the assignment. Looking every bit as regal as she did in 'The Princess Diaries', the actress accentuated her stunning tweed Versace gown with subtle makeup and long volumized hair.

Suki Waterhouse matched the colors of her mesh dress to her eye makeup. The actress and singer chose a palette of greens, pinks and yellows to create a softly-defined Met Gala look this year.
Trust Sydney Sweeney to turn it out in the soft glamour she's known for. The actress kept her makeup minimal with glowy pinks, whispy lashes, and nude lipstick. She accessorized her long wavy hair with a black bow.
Whitney Peak rocked wet set hair popular in 1920s Hollywood to accompany her regal ensemble from Chanel's Haute Couture Fall/Winter 2021/22 collection. She kept her makeup nude, with neat brows, brown eyeshadow, blush, and matching lipstick.
