The Renaissance star hinted at starting a new haircare venture after posting a cryptic message on Instagram.

We are alarmed, we cannot remain calm, and we are most definitely attempting to leave the dance floor: Beyoncé might be entering her beauty venture era. On May 16, Queen Bey posted a cryptic message on Instagram consisting of a carousel of three photos. The first was of her messing with her hair in the mirror with label-less bottles in front of her, while the second was her getting her hair done as a child. But it was the third that had our eyebrows raised and alarms going off.

The text mentioned how her first job was sweeping her mother's hair salon and how Destiny Child's first gigs took place as clients got their hair done. She reminisces on the firsthand account of witnessing how nurturing our hair impacts the soul. The last line reads, "Having learned so much on my own hair journey, I've always dreamed of carrying on her legacy. I can't wait for you to experience what I've been creating."

And just like that, a Beyoncé haircare line may be in our foreseeable future.

It's not completely off the mark why Beyoncé would start her own haircare line. The record-breaking Grammy singer has always been praised for her hair looks — a thanks none other than to her long-time stylists Neal Farinah and Kim Kimble, and her mother Tina Knowles-Lawson.

In recent years we saw an increase in celebrity-owned beauty brands, from Pattern Beauty by Tracee Ellis Ross to Rhode Skin by Hailey Bieber. While the curve of celebrity-owned beauty brands has begun to noticeably diminish, Queen Bey follows her own pace as she hints at starting a new beauty venture.

The cryptic announcement comes shortly after starting her highly-anticipated Renaissance Tour, where she's received rave reviews on all fronts: from her stunning vocals to her alien superstar-worthy looks. While further details have yet to come, if a Beyoncé haircare line is truly in our future, perhaps we may get a sneak peek of the products she uses as she does her world tour.
