With the release of a short film produced by emerging filmmaker Paris Brosnan, son of James Bond actor Pierce Brosnan, French cosmetics giant Clarins observes Hunger Action Month and celebrates a decade-long partnership with Feed, a socially driven lifestyle brand with a mission to "create good products that help feed children around the world." Founded in 2007 by Lauren Bush Lauren, niece of former President George W. Bush and wife of David Lauren, son of Ralph Lauren, FEED was born out of Bush Lauren's love of fashion and design paired with a desire to give back and has assisted in providing over 120 million meals globally through non-profit giving partners in the U.S. and around the globe.

Following her experience as a Student Spokesperson for the UN World Food Program (WFP) in 2004, where Bush Lauren had the opportunity to witness firsthand the issues of hunger and poverty that plague many communities in Central America, Asia, and Africa on a daily basis, she was then inspired to create the initial Feed 1 Bag. When purchased, the artisan-made burlap bag feeds one child in school for one year, and still to this day, every product the charity brand designs has a number on it representing the school meals donated with its purchase. From bags and accessories to home goods and even coffee—thanks to Feed's first shop and café opened in the heart of DUMBO, Brooklyn in 2017—everyone can participate in the company's goal to make the world a better place one bag, bracelet, or latte at a time, via both in-store exclusive and online purchases.

The philantropic alliance between Feed and Clarins came as a natural fit. “I met Lauren 10 years ago, and very quickly we realized we shared the same values, the same spirit—respect for the environment, for life, for people,” explains Christian Courtin-Clarins. “Clarins believes that real beauty is expressed by taking action to make the world a better place. And we want to do more, the work is not over. Our children are the future. We owe it to them to provide education, nutrition, and good health.”

Twenty-year-old Paris Brosnan decided to join the duo's admirable cause in 2019, when he became a Feed ambassador and traveled to Sri Lanka with Bush Lauren and Courtin-Clarins to personally document how WFP's work on the ground has been supporting the needy and fostering the regional economy over the years. “Traveling to Sri Lanka was an eye-opening experience,” said Brosnan of the impact the trip had on him. “I was drawn to Clarins and Feed's mission to help solve childhood hunger through school feeding. This school meals program gives children a sense of belonging, community, and an education. A little goes a long way—collectively, small actions can make a lifechanging difference for those who need it most.”

This year, the brands are also launching a social media campaign in which Clarins will donate the funds for 10 school meals for each social media post with the hashtag #ClarinsxFeed and handles for Clarins and Feed.
