Louis Vuitton has officially entered the makeup chat.

<a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/tags/louis-vuitton" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Louis Vuitton</a> has had beauty lovers on their heels since March, when the French luxury house first teased its color cosmetics collection with just two swatches of lipstick and eyeshadow. The brand is no stranger to the beauty realm: It has been crafting perfumes for nearly a century, and even briefly sold brushes and powder compacts in the 1920s. Makeup, however, is an all-new category&mdash;and with legendary makeup artist <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/beauty/interview-makeup-artist-pat-mcgrath-labs-mother-of-makeup-maison-margiela-beauty" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Pat McGrath</a> serving as creative director, La Beaut&eacute; Louis Vuitton has officially arrived.
Expanding the maison&rsquo;s lifestyle offerings, the cosmetics line delivers a whopping 73 items at launch. Lipstick is at the debut&rsquo;s core, with 55 shades ranging from classic reds to nude browns to rosy pinks&mdash;there are 27 creamy satin finishes and 28 matte options; each one is infused with a perfume&mdash;and shea butter and hyaluronic acid keep lips hydrated. The same skin-nourishing ingredients are found in the brand&rsquo;s lip balms, which are available in 10 sheer tints that give a glossy finish.

La Beaut&eacute; Louis Vuitton&rsquo;s first drop also includes eight eyeshadow palettes. Each has four color pans inside, with three everyday shades and one unexpected standout hue that adds dimension. Some compacts, like the Harmonie 150 Beige Memento, are ideal for creating a soft smoky eye with subtle ivory and golden bronze. Others, like the Harmonie 896 Monogram Rouge palette, are suited for crafting more glamorous looks, pairing a deep burnished red with the rich brown and caramel hues of Louis Vuitton&rsquo;s signature Monogram canvas.
The LV Rouge Complete Lipsticks and LV Baume Lip Balms are priced at $160 each, while the LV Ombres Complete Eyeshadows ring up at $250. Refills are $69 for lips and $92 for eyeshadows, respectively.
And as of today, August 25, La Beaut&eacute; Louis Vuitton is officially live on the <a href="https://us.louisvuitton.com/eng-us/stories/la-beaute-louis-vuitton" target="_blank" rel="noopener">brand&rsquo;s website</a>, making its long-awaited debut available to shop worldwide.
