Manish Arora's Fall 2018 show was inspired by the designer's own form of zen and spiritualism. That manifested in the form of colorful samurai-inspired pillow scarves, reworked kimono dresses, and the label's signature fun t-shirts and bags covered in creatures ranging from bunnies to butterflies. There was also a slogan top that proclaimed, "Pink and gold is my religion."

Chinese emoji Tuzki (a short and adorable rabbit) mingled with the crowed before the show started and ended up sitting front row, clapping its paws when any of the clothing went by that was embellished with an image of him. Given the brand is opening five different stores in China this year, it make sense as a whimical way to celebrate.

As for the makeup? Makeup artist Kabuki created incredible glitter stenciled faces with bold range lips and on every single model, which in contrast to pieces like the hand painted wooden block shoes completd the look.

Backstage after the show, lead nail artist Marian Newman for CND who created highly detailed nails with long feathers and Swarovski crystals proclaimed that Manish Arora's beauty look for Fall 2018 was inspired by the statement "Orange is the new zen," hence the lips (created using MAC products) and nails.
