The attempt is to enclose the sky in a collection.&nbsp;Sarah Burton continues to represent the bond of the <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/alexander-mcqueen-most-shocking-runway-moments" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Alexander McQueen</a> brand and the capital of the United Kingdom. After presenting the collection on the banks of the Thames during the pandemic<a href="https://www.lofficielitalia.com/moda/alexander-mcqueen-collezione-spring-summer-2021-pre-fall-uomo-film-jonathan-glazer" target="_blank" rel="noopener">,</a> the creative director for the Spring/Summer 2022 collection decides to conquer the fickle London sky.
"I'm interested in immersing myself in the environment in which we live and work, in London, and in the elements as we experience them every day." Burton explains that as an invitation to the show presented a print with a glimpse of the London sky, "The artwork for the prints in this collection was shot from the rooftops of our studio, where we are fortunate to have the most incredible views of the city: from Saint Paul's Cathedral to the London Eye."
Entitled "London Skies," the show celebrates beauty and the immensity of white clouds that crash against the clear blue sky, masses of voluminous and above all changing gaseous material.&nbsp; The sky changes at every moment, from sunrise to sunset, from clear to storm:&nbsp;

In the transparent cloud-shaped setting designed by architect Smiljan Radic, <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/men/alexander-mcqueen-spring-summer-2022-menswear-collection" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Alexander McQueen's</a> creations parade. Burton for the Spring/Summer 2022 collection renews the tailoring with en gigot sleeves, bottlenecks made with drawstrings, and clean cuts that break up the suits by deconstructing them. Denim is combined with black leather while long sequins, soft feathers, and <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/swarovski-instant-wonder-soho" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Swarovski</a> applications adorn the dresses. The chromatic contrasts are created with a right dose of white combined with blue and black, while the soft colors such as pale blue, yellow, and dusty pink are sampled from the shades of the London sky.&nbsp; For the grand finale of the show, the Black Venus, <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/naomi-campbell-best-90s-moments-young-model-runway" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Naomi Campbell </a>walks the runway with a majestic total black gown as a British icon who conquers London together with Alexander McQueen.
