7 Beauty Trends From the Fall/Winter 2023 Runways
Including bleached brows and bold red lips.
While we are taking note of our favorite fashion looks being unveiled on the runways, of course, we are also keeping track of the equally mesmerizing beauty trends. From Chanel's metallic eyes to Gucci's bleached eyebrows, labels are already coming through with some beauty looks we can't wait to test out. Below, L'OFFICIEL rounds up seven must-see beauty trends from the Fall/Winter 2023 runways.
Bleached Eyebrows
Celebrities couldn't get enough of bleached eyebrows throughout 2022, so their appearance on the runway was inevitable. The '90s trend can be paired with any beauty look and worn with various outfits, as seen by labels like Private Policy, Area, and Gucci.
Bold Red Lip
At Christian Siriano, the designer leaned into the power of a bold red lip, paying homage to the classic glamour of Audrey Hepburn. A good red lip can completely alter a look for the better, but the best part is that it can be easily recreated.
Sharp Siren Eye
Unlike other beauty trends that have gone viral on TikTok and quickly fizzled out, siren eyes continue to stake its claim in the beauty world. Though, labels took it a step further by exaggerating the already distinct beauty look.
Lined Lips
Designers including Kim Shui and Tia Adeola stood out with their '90s-inspired lined lips. Consisting of dark lip liner and shiny gloss, for something rather simple to execute, it never fails to create a big impact.
Minimal Makeup
Sometimes the best makeup look is the no makeup look. Labels such as Proenza Schouler and Tod's went with the "less is more" approach by keeping the beauty looks simple and natural.
Bold Eyeshadow
The category is: go bold or go home. As seen on the runways, bold eyeshadow is having a moment. Whether you want the eyeshadow to reach the brows as seen by Jason Wu (with makeup sponsored by Jason Wu Beauty) or focus on the inner corners like Bronx and Banco, the statement beauty look provides plenty of room to play around.
Metallic Moments
This season was all about metallic accents, which seemed fitting given the rise of silvery pants and other accessories. There were subtle shiny shadows in silver and dark gray at Chanel, while designers like Louis Vuitton went a little more on the nose with lustrous undereye decorations. The variation in this trend’s application makes it versatile enough to complement most outfits.
