Fresh off the Spring/Summer 2026 runways of Balmain, Bottega Veneta, and more, fringe embellishments bring garments to life in a unique way, rippling with movement. In Copenhagen, fashion week guests are sporting the trend, from a few subtle tassels to accentuate their outfits to carrying bags covered entirely in long, dramatic strands.&nbsp;Using fringe to accessorize jackets and blazers is also increasingly popular—whether the tassels are placed on the front or back, it's sure to make a statement.
Taking the trend to the next level, Karen Gonzalez pairs a fringe maxi skirt with a brown and orange leather fringe clutch bag, alongside dainty black kitten heels, and accessorizes the look with oversized, chunky brown sunglasses. Fringe has never looked more chic.&nbsp;

A great summer staple or a transitional piece as the weather changes, the street style at Copenhagen Fashion Week proves there are endless ways to wear a mini, midi, or maxi skirt. A long white skirt, for example, may seem simple, but it's definitely not boring or plain. With the right structure, shape, and accessories, a maxi skirt can be the focal point of any outfit.&nbsp;
Mixing styles also works—one guest embraces the sporty chic aesthetic by putting together a bright red half-zip windbreaker with a colorful, A-line plaid skirt, accessorizing with oversized reflective sunglasses. Other guests strutted the streets of Copenhagen wearing a bright sequined mini skirt, layered a skirt over a pair of pants, or even stepped out in a flouncy tutu-inspired skirt.&nbsp;

Dua Lipa proved to us that the bandana is the ultimate summer accessory, and here, we see Copenhagen embracing the classic paisley print, along with all kinds of funky and whimsical headwear—one guest even decorated their white headscarf with white feathers flowing down the back. Beaded berets and bandanas graced the streets, along with straw hats, newsboy caps, and much more.&nbsp;
Evi Wave, a German fashion influencer, was spotted at Copenhagen Fashion Week with a unique find from the Luxembourg accessories brand, <a href="https://kroon02.com/">Kroon 02</a>. She wore the Kroon 02 Bathing Cap in a cool sky blue colorway that matched her bright Havianas, a standout pop of color to an otherwise monochrome outfit. The headpiece is hand-embroidered and made from delicate glass beads. 
The Kroon 02 Bathing Cap is reminiscent of the popular "Juliet Cap" from much earlier Medieval and Renaissance styles. So the question stands: is a medieval-girl autumn upon us? But if we know anything, it's that fashion always finds a way to come back around.&nbsp;
