Courrèges Spring/Summer 2025: The New Sexy
Nicolas Di Felice presents his Spring/Summer 2025 collection at the Carreau du Temple in Paris.
Designed by Nicolas Di Felice, Courrèges' Spring-Summer 2025 collection starts with a visually striking stage centerpiece — a sort of vacuum filled with metal balls that create the sound of waves, adding a sensory element to the show. This aligns with Courrèges' signature retro-futuristic style, blending simplicity and innovation.
The collection itself used a minimalist color palette of whites, blacks, and nudes while playing with the concepts of exposure and concealment. The clothing featured low-waisted pants, bondage-inspired straps, and extremely minimal crop tops, which resemble censorship bars over the chest. Dresses and jackets were geometric, alternating between solid, heavy volumes and light, almost fleeting forms. The designs balance coverage and bareness, with pieces like backless dresses evoking futuristic religious imagery.
Models like Irina Shayk, Vittoria Ceretti, and Loli Bahia walked in parallel lines, further emphasizing the sleek, structured aesthetic of the collection. The overall theme was a bold exploration of modern fashion through minimalistic yet visually impactful designs.
