Kim Jones' Dior Men's Spring/Summer 2025 Collection Takes Flight During Paris Fashion Week
The Dior Men's Spring/Summer 2025 collection channeled the history of the house while incorporating a new avian motif.
Kim Jones has truly come into his own during this newest menswear collection, displaying a new level of technical skill and willingness to play. After joining the Dior Homme family in 2018, Jones has continued to perfect his interpretations of the house's codes. In reinterpreting the Dior man, he has impressed house loyalists and new clientele alike.
Jones kept it classically chic, as always, in the Dior Men's Spring/Summer 2025 collection, keeping tailoring tight and colors muted and natural. Extended collars and pleated trousers were abundant, fulfilling the Dior house code of sophisticated men's suiting. Vests and shorts also rounded out the collection with several blue and pink pieces for the more adventurous Dior man. The bucket hat was a new summer-ready entry into the Dior man's closet adorned with small ceramic pieces.
The collection also introduced a bird motif throughout the show, heavily inspired by the work of the South African ceramist Hylton Nel. Nel is famous for his hyper-stylized and animalistic ceramic figures, including his famous cats, which lined the show's catwalk. Many of the collars, buttons, shoes, and even sweaters featured bird imagery in abstract and unconventional ways.
A true innovator in the fashion industry, Kim Jones has presented his most personal yet creative collection yet, featuring a sublime and unique version of one of his favorite songs, Kate Bush's legendary "Cloudbusting." The show's effort to remain quintessentially Dior while embracing Jones's spirit helps the Dior Men's Spring/Summer 2025 collection to truly soar.
While the Dior Men's Spring/Summer 2025 collection was a sight to behold in itself, so too were the celebrity guests and friends of the house who flocked to the front rows of the runway. Among those spotted in the coveted front row seats of the Dior Men's Spring/Summer 2025 runway show were Maluma, Demi Moore, Casey Affleck, Arón Piper, Robert Pattinson, Brooklyn Beckham, Jeremy Scott, Kate Moss, Miss Fame, Tomorrow X Together, and many more.
