The Aquatic World of Giorgio Armani for Spring/Summer 2024
With iridescent textures, vibrant hues, fluid materials, and an ultramarine atmosphere, Giorgio Armani presents a collection fitting for under the sea.
Giorgio Armani takes us to the sea again. Summer is ending but with this fashion show, we are still dreaming, waiting for the next one. The Giorgio Armani Spring/Summer 2024 show is all about the ultramarine, presenting its hero color cobalt blue, with touches of bronze and silver, bright green, and precious purple, to flow into the white and black of the night. Glows that, night and day, illuminate a sophisticated woman for whom femininity means wrapping the body in iridescent silk satin that reflects light. Crisp duster coats and fluid suits, dresses embroidered with fringes or slip dresses with slits combined with ton sur ton trousers.
Everything vibrates: Colors, emotions, and clothes. This season the vibrations become visible: They cover entire surfaces in undulating movements, in rippled weaves, and they expand the chromatic range. The shapes follow the body and the movement: liquid jackets, soft trousers with always low heels, while the large bags are crossed by other undulations. Coherent and continuous by definition, Giorgio Armani's vision is that elegance and lively femininity seem not to change and yet are different every time.
