The Spanish label has officially entered a brand new era&mdash;and industry darlings Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez are here to herald it.&nbsp;

Loewe is a highlight each and every season, but this time, it was especially highly anticipated. After all, the <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/loewe-spring-summer-2026-teaser-new-creative-directors" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Spring/Summer 2026 collection</a> was the long-awaited <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/loewe-creative-directors-jack-mccollough-lazaro-hernandez" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez</a>&mdash;Proenza Schouler's famed founders&mdash;debut.&nbsp;
"To enter Loewe is to take on codes shaped over 180 years of history, defined above all by an enduring commitment to craft and its Spanish identity. Our task is to carry this spirit forward, interpreting it through our own distinct lens. How might craft be redefined today? How far can one push the expression of the handmade before its very traces of making disappear? What constitutes Spanishness in 2025&mdash;released from the weight of history, yet respectful of it?" mused the creative director duo in the show notes.&nbsp;
Indeed, the pair made good on their promise to continue to carry the Loewe legacy into the future. Within the Spring/Summer 2026 collection, abstract, avant-garde, and audacious styles took center stage in a veritable parade of colors, textures, and silhouettes. Layered looks also offered plenty of sartorial inspiration for the season ahead, seen in the seams of classic LBDs, button-down blouses, and even clutches.&nbsp;
Striking sensuality and thoughtful craftsmanship were at the forefront of each look, paying tribute to both Loewe's heritage and the continuation of the label's excellence into the future. Drawing inspiration from Elsworth Kelly's Yellow Panel with Red Curve&nbsp;(1989), a range of optimistic, playful, and deeply spirited looks prevailed.&nbsp;
In sleek, polished leather coats and structured, finely tailored blazers, a sensible, yet vivacious spirit came alive, while sporty looks, like vintage-inspired windbreakers and striped polo-collared mini dresses, offered a spry, youthful take on the house's sartorial standards.&nbsp;
In keeping with Spring/Summer 2026 trends, the latest Loewe collection also expressed a palpable preoccupation with all things aquatic. Sunbleached towel-esque dresses, oversized sunnies, and brimmed caps brought the heat, accentuated by wet, slicked-back beauty looks.&nbsp;
Though the new creative designers at the helm made a point of looking back at the Spanish house's storied history, they brought with them an eclectic, joyful spirit straight from New York&mdash;evident as the pair took their final bows, both clad in Ralph Lauren.&nbsp;
