Excitement and fun have been a trademark of designer Raul Solis since launching his own post-Proenza line in 2014. Notwithstanding the self-proclaimed attempt to "deliver a soft post-minimal look" (as quoted from the press release distributed at this show), LRS Spring 2019 was no different. This collection was all about exuding a different kind of energy with every piece: from the torn up glittery skirts and the crushed soda can belts, to the clinched over-sized duffle coats and highly tailored leather jackets. We will say, however, that the sheer pearl-colored dresses presented a cool respite from the "controlled chaos."
Mind you, the aforementioned LRS Spring 2019 press releases took the form of a clinical ADHD diagnosis sheet.
