Each fashion week, womenswear often dominates the spotlight with dramatic presentations and theatrical flair. Yet every season, fashion enthusiasts eagerly await a standout moment that rises above the rest&mdash;and this year, all eyes are on menswear as a potential source of that breakthrough.
NYFW opens with <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion-week/nyfw-ss25-celebrities">stars touching down in New York City</a>, heels hitting the pavement, parties going at all hours of the day (and night). Many see it as a celebration, a testament to the rise of NYC&rsquo;s position as a major fashion city, and a tribute to the designers who have helped the city get there.
The worn out theory that menswear is all stiff suits and unchanging shapes was disproven time and time again in the early days of <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/influential-fashion-designers-2000s-alexander-mcqueen-marc-jacobs-zac-posen">Hedi Slimane</a>, but is continuously being pushed by contemporary designers, each year progressing in talent and originality.&nbsp;

Campillo, led by Patricio Campillo, draws inspiration from Mexican culture and the personal aesthetics of the designer in each of his collections. Often featuring a muted, earthy palette, the designs are timeless, bringing a fresh perspective and sleekness to menswear. The free-flowing attitude of the pieces moves brilliantly on the runway, similarly to the calm and conscious beliefs that formed this label. Campillo presents at NYFW on September 12 at 6 pm.&nbsp;

Todd Snyder will present his eponymous brand on September 13th at 6 pm, a highly anticipated show expected to be one of the best for menswear this season. Snyder brings tastefulness and a chic styling to his label with tailored shirts, schoolboy style shorts, and a blazer of every material.&nbsp;

Julian Louie brings a background in architecture to his menswear brand, Aubero. Another top contender for one of the best this season, Aubero is a brand synonymous with cool, casual style. Some pieces border on the erotic, and all celebrate the shape of the male form. Aubero presents on September 16 at 1:30 pm.

Designed by Zane Li, Lii draws inspiration from retro sportswear to create the styles presented. With flashes of color and a few sharp collars, Li has an ability to freshen up menswear to a point where it feels totally new. Zane Li will present Lii on September 16 at 3 pm.

T&eacute;la D'Amore and Ev Bravado present their entirely in-house-made menswear line on September 13 at 9 pm. Who Decides War is a brand that continuously pushes the envelope and draws in a star-studded crowd with famous rappers in their front row donning their original pieces.&nbsp;
