Ralph Lauren Spring 2019

For Spring 2019, designer and namesake label, Ralph Lauren, debuted perhaps what is the most "Ralph Lauren" -esque collection of all time. This season, which marks the iconic Polo label's 50th-year anniversary, Ralph Lauren transformed the runway of NYFW into a prep-school catalog come to life, showcasing what the brand does best: American classic. With an incredibly diverse casting for this season, models of different ethnicities and along the spectrum of age rocked the runway, dressed to the nines in what can only be described as New-England-gone-glam. Featuring signature design motifs like thick woolen plaids, oversized varsity lettering, and bold catching logos, Ralph Lauren sticks to its guns as a label while reinventing and reimagining its arsenal of tried-and-trues.

Following the runway show was a celebrity-stacked extravaganza held by Lauren in celebration of the brand's 50th anniversary. Held in the heart of Central Park, the label celebrated it's longevity and sucess right where the label was originally created. With friends of the brand including Oprah, Kanye West, and Hillary Clinton in attendance, it's safe to say that even the biggest and greatest of the stars aligned in honor of Ralph Lauren.
