Ahead of Diesel's buzzy Egg Hunt event in Milan, Valkyrae sat down with L'OFFICIEL to talk personal style mantras, yap sessions with her team, and having fun with fashion.&nbsp;

<a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/pop-culture/most-popular-female-twitch-streamers" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Valkyrae</a>&mdash;aka Rachell Hofstetter&mdash;is beloved by fans for her trailblazing role in the gaming industry, but in recent years, she's also begun to carve out a place of her own amongst the fashion crowd.&nbsp;
In 2018, three years after she began live-streaming gameplay on Twitch, Valkyrae had her first major breakthrough, which led to a contract with lifestyle and gaming company 100 Thieves, officially making her the first female content creator signed by the brand. Seven years later, Valkyrae has a dedicated fan base of millions, several industry awards under her belt, and buzzy new media endeavors&mdash;plus, plenty of invites to high-profile <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion-week/all-the-celebrities-at-milan-fashion-week-front-row-photos" target="_blank" rel="noopener">fashion week</a> events.
Whether she&rsquo;s hopping on a stream, attending a runway show, or out and about in Los Angeles, Valkyrae&rsquo;s cutting-edge, cool-girl aesthetic comes through, uniting all elements of her identity&mdash;both Rachell and Valkyrae&mdash;in one standout look.&nbsp;
Ahead of the <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion-week/diesel-spring-summer-2026-fashion-show-treasure-hunt-photos" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Diesel Spring/Summer 2026 show-slash-egg hunt</a>, L&rsquo;OFFICIEL caught up with Valkyrae, who talked details on her look for the show, <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/beauty/post-summer-skin-recovery-routine-ingredients" target="_blank" rel="noopener">skincare</a> must-haves, and the importance of cultivating her personal style.

L'OFFICIEL: How does your personal style fit into the world of Diesel&rsquo;s aesthetics and sartorial codes?
Valkyrae: Diesel is one of my favorite brands because it&rsquo;s easy to wear and comfortable, while still retaining the edgy look and aesthetic that I love. Whenever I go into the store, I find too many options that I like because so many of the looks&mdash;whether it&rsquo;s the oversized fits or their insane pants&mdash;fit the tomboy-esque aesthetic that I like.&nbsp;
L'O: How did you decide on your outfit for the show? Were there any particular styles or pieces that you knew you really wanted to wear?
V: Deciding on my look was actually difficult, because I loved so many of the options the Diesel team and my stylists had selected. I genuinely loved everything they pulled for me, but narrowed it down to two looks with very different style narratives. We went back and forth between them, and the Diesel team actually let me take both home and decide which one I wanted to wear for the show in real time. After taking pictures in both, I ended up going with the pants look because it felt more aligned with the scavenger hunt we were about to embark on.&nbsp;

L'O: What&rsquo;s your favorite part of getting ready to attend a runway show?&nbsp;
V: My favorite part of getting ready is having my entire team&mdash;my hair and makeup team, my manager, my assistant&mdash;all in the room with me as I put the look together. It is such a fun time getting to yap and catch up.
L'O:&nbsp;Do you have any specific beauty/skincare products that are must-haves in your beauty routine?
V: My skincare routine is always changing, but lately I&rsquo;ve been using a ton of Laneige products&mdash;I am really enjoying their bouncy and firm sleeping masks&mdash;a must-have when I travel&mdash;and their cleanser. When it comes to makeup, I switch it up regularly. I don&rsquo;t wear a whole lot of makeup, as I'm usually going for a more natural look, day to day.

L'O: Do you have any favorite Diesel pieces that are on repeat in your wardrobe?&nbsp;
V: A ton of my favorite pieces from Diesel have become true wardrobe staples, especially my favorite set, which is this skirt and jacket combo that I wore often while filming for my new Netflix show Inside! Most of what I wore on that show actually was from Diesel. In addition to the incredible sets, I have a cream denim piece that is so edgy and unique; it's become a true everyday go-to.
L'O:&nbsp;What did the planning and getting-ready process look like for this event? Did the logistics of the interactive Egg Hunt factor into your look at all?&nbsp;
V: I was so surprised to hear that the show was going to be a scavenger hunt&mdash;it was something I had never heard of a brand doing before, and I was excited to take part in it. It did actually have an impact on which look I chose for the show; I went with jeans, because knowing that it was going to be outdoors and at night, I wanted to be warm while searching for the eggs around the city.
