Although it was presented in warm sunny Paris, the Wales Bonner Men's Spring/Summer 2025, titled "Midnight Palms," appeared straight out of electrifying nightlife scenes of picturesque Caribbean <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/2024-cannes-film-festival-coastal-fashion-meryl-streep-greta-gerwig" target="_blank" rel="noopener">seaside</a> cities.
Preppy-inspired apparel&mdash;as seen in mesh <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/shopping/crochet-dresses-summer-2024-missoni-chloe" target="_blank" rel="noopener">crocheted</a> sweater vests, beachy retro-inspired striped polo shirts, and sumptuous brown leather shoulder bags&mdash;entered the world of the label's tropical-inspired Spring/Summer 2025 collection. All-white, subtly striped button-downs with matching shorts, strappy leather sandals, and laid-back coordinated <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/maggie-q-loro-piana-cocooning-collection" target="_blank" rel="noopener">loungewear</a> sets all embodied the beachy, sophisticated boho world that founder and creative director <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/art/grace-wales-bonner-moma-spirit-movers-exhibition-artist-choice-series" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Grace Wales Bonner</a> fashioned for this season's menswear line. Aside from the expertly-tailored tops and ultra-short shorts&mdash;a quickly emerging trend in the menswear world, take it from celebrity style icons like Jacob Elordi and Paul Mescal for proof&mdash;the Wales Bonner Men's Spring/Summer 2025 collection also featured a delightful collaboration with athletic brand <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/adidas-originals-prada-resource-nft-metaverse" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Adidas</a>, complete with several new sneaker styles and Samba colorways.&nbsp;
Among the new Adidas models, the Country Low shoe in khaki <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/the-biggest-spring-summer-2024-menswear-trends" target="_blank" rel="noopener">suede</a> and white and black leather sneaker have attracted attention, as has the deconstructed Superstar Hi-top sneaker, all made of buttery soft, lived-in suede.
Unsurprisingly, the real star of the show among the newly debuted sneakers was the Adidas <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/emily-ratajkowski-puma-speedcats" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Samba</a>&mdash;a shoe that has become a beloved sartorial staple in the wardrobes of those ranging from supermodels to teenagers on TikTok. While the shoe has always been a popular choice among sneakerheads, middle-aged fathers, and street style savants across the globe, in recent years, the unassuming Samba has made a full transformation into the It girl of sneakers. Wales Bonner has partnered with Adidas on multiple occasions, so fans of the luxury label were not surprised to see the Samba reinvented in the Men's Spring/Summer 2025 collection with a worn, but no less dazzling touch.
