Activism, graffiti, velvet, and giant furs made up Demna Gvasalia's Fall 2018 collection for the French fashion house.

Demna Gvasalia has decided to fight hunger this season and has partnered up with the World Food Programme (WFP). Reportedly, Balenciaga has already donated $250,000 to the program and has even announced that 10% of sales from Balenciaga products bearing the WFP logo will be put back into the advocacy group. Ultimately, their goal is to defeat world hunger by 2030.

The collection included several men&#39;s shirts with phone numbers printed on the chest. Should you dial and make the call, you will be taken to the Balenciaga hotline, an answering machine&nbsp;will begin asking questions about you.&nbsp;

We&#39;ve seen this look before for Balenciaga&#39;s collection for women, &nbsp;but this season we saw a version for men.

Return to the Galaxy

In essence, the collection paid homage to the legacy of couturier Cristobal Balenciaga&nbsp;as seen in the silhouette expressed by coats and dresses. But in 2018, that means craftsmanship in the form of&nbsp;huge coats and technicolor puffer jackets.

We first saw Gvasalia&#39;s version of a sharply tailored tweed blazer three seasons ago. The piece instantly became a Balenciaga staple and will no doubt be here to stay.&nbsp;
