Fashion and beauty brands are announcing their intiatives to support the Black community in the wake of the police brutality protests.

This past weekend we saw an uproar in response to the senseless deaths of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, and Ahmaud Arbery at the hands of the&nbsp;police. These cases are sadly the most recent in an over 400-year history of injustice against African Americans. <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/music/l'officiel-on-tour" target="_blank">Across the world</a>, we are seeing people collectively come together to say &ldquo;enough is enough&rdquo; and protest the unjust and systemic racism in the United States.&nbsp;

It is not only up to the Black community to educate a country, nor is it just up to&nbsp;individuals to fight the fight. Consumers are demanding that businesses, especially those&nbsp;who have profited off of black culture for decades, speak up and take action. Both major companies&nbsp;and emerging brands are beginning to take to their social platforms to demonstrate solidarity with those on the frontlines. Marc Jacobs, for one, showed support to protestors by <a href="http://www.instagram.com/p/CA3O7YJDiTm/" target="_blank">posting a photo</a> of the brand&#39;s Los Angeles boutique, which was&nbsp;defaced after a riot. He wrote: &ldquo;A life cannot be replaced. Black Lives Matter.&rdquo;

&nbsp;Beyond casting <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/naomi-campbell-iconic-fashion-outfits" target="_blank">black models </a>for campaigns and runways, the fashion industry still has a long way to go. In this moment, the industry has the opportunity to not only show Black culture, but to educate, to hire, and to get further involved. We will all stand taller when we all stand together. Below are those brands who are taking a stance against injustice by speaking up and <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/politics-culture/fashion-beauty-brands-coronavirus-donations-aid" target="_blank">donating to essential organizations</a> supporting the Black Lives Matter movement. Now it is up to shoppers to chose what brands are worthy of their hard-earned dollars.

Jewelry brand Agmes is partnering with the&nbsp;<a href="https://www.naacpldf.org/" target="_blank">NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund</a>&nbsp;all throughout June. The brand has&nbsp;chosen their five best-selling styles and are committed to donating 100% of net proceeds from those sales for the&nbsp;month. Fleur du Mal is donating 10% of sales to Know Your Rights Camp and to the Legal Defense Initiative.

Fear of God has teamed up with eight streetwear labels&nbsp;(including&nbsp;Off-White, Pyer Moss, and More)&nbsp;for an unprecedented super collaboration for a charitable T-shirt dedicated to George Floyd and his daughter, Gianna. The complete proceeds of the shirt will be donated to the Gianna Floyd Fund.

The brand&nbsp;will be donating 100 percent of net proceeds from the limited edition re-release of its signature Stronger in Colour hoodies and t-shirts to The Bail Project.

The collective brands of Gap Inc. have made a $250,000 donation to <a href="https://secure.actblue.com/donate/naacp-1" target="_blank">NAACP</a> and <a href="https://www.embracerace.org/" target="_blank">EmbraceRace</a>, supporting to raise a brave new generation by talking to youth about racism.

Diamond Supply Co. is re-releasing its Unity tee, which was originally released as an anti-racism statement in 2017. The $32 tee, available in three colorways, drops this Saturday with all proceeds going to Black Lives Matter.

Dior will be matching all employee contributions to Black Lives Matter, NAACP, and Dream Defenders in order to do their part in standing in solidarity with injustice in the Black community.

The British fashion brand will be making donations to Belly Mujinga&rsquo;s memorial fund, local bail funds in the US, and to <a href="http://colorofchange.org/">Color of Change</a>, who campaign for racial justice throughout America.&nbsp;

Racism is not just an American problem, and British brand Burberry announced that it would be donating an undisclosed sum to <a href="https://secure.actblue.com/donate/ms_blm_homepage_2019">Black Lives Matter</a>.

5-year-old cult-favorite accessories label Staud announced that it has made a $10,000 donation to <a href="https://colorofchange.org/" target="_blank">Color of Change</a>. The&nbsp;designers have also said that 10% of sales for this month will also be donated to the non-profit.

Fashion designer Asai will be producing the viral and&nbsp;<a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/CAzgqXInHRc/" target="_blank">iconic Rihanna dress</a>&nbsp;exclusively, and donating 100% of proceeds to <a href="https://secure.actblue.com/donate/ms_blm_homepage_2019" target="_blank">Black Lives Matter</a>.&nbsp;Rihanna and the designer are the only ones who currently have it.

The brand will be donating $100,000 donation to the NAACP, Black Visions Collective, and other charitable causes combating racial injustice. Rent The Runway has also promised to allocate $1 million to support Black designers through wholesale, manufacturing, design, data, mentorship, and financial support.

The California-based, female-founded, inclusive athleisure brand has announced they are donating $25,000 to the&nbsp;<a href="https://www.aclu.org/" target="_blank">ACLU</a>&nbsp;as well as focus their social media for the unforeseen future to support the black community and share resources.&nbsp;

Beyond Yoga

The UK-based luxury loungewear brand will be donating an undisclosed amount to the&nbsp;<a href="https://www.knowyourrightscamp.com/legal" target="_blank">Know Your Rights Camp</a>&nbsp;to support protestors that may need legal resources.&nbsp;

To assist in uplifting the black community, NATIVE is donating across Black Lives Matter and the NAACP to aid in their work against racial injustice through non-violent direct action. NATIVE has pledged to continue their partnership with Larkin Street Youth Services, a San Francisco based nonprofit that helps foster youth build their lives during a time where 80% of all youth experiencing homelessness in San Francisco are people of color.
