Riccardo Tisci gives the historic British fashion house a modern update.

Burberry&#39;s&nbsp;newly-christened Creative Director&nbsp;Riccardo Tisci is set to unveil his first fashion show for the brand at the upcoming&nbsp;London Fashion Week&nbsp;in September, but he has already made some major changes to the historic British label.

Through posts on <a href="https://www.instagram.com/riccardotisci17/?hl=en">his Instagram</a>, Tisci heralded the start of a &quot;#newera&quot; at Burberry by sharing a brand new logo for the brand. Gone are the horse and the knight; Tisci has chosen to keep things simple with&nbsp;a clean, sans-serif font specially designed&nbsp;by the famous graphic designer, Peter Saville.&nbsp;(You may remember him for his redesign of Calvin Klein&#39;s&nbsp;logo&nbsp;last year.)

Saville has also designed a new monogram for Burberry, which comes in honey and orange hues.&nbsp;Its design&nbsp;was inspired by an archival&nbsp;Thomas Burberry monogram that had caught Tisci&#39;s eye for feeling &quot;very contemporary&quot; &mdash; which is pretty much what we should expect from the designer&#39;s debut collection for Burberry next month.
