As one of the most demanding certifications in evaluating a brand's social and environmental impact, the B Corp certification marks a new stage in <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/chloe-moon-boot-collaboration-fall-winter-2021-sustainable" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Chlo&eacute;</a>'s transformation towards a purpose-driven model.&nbsp;</span></p>

The <span>Uruguayan designer has had a history of working towards honest luxury, having produced the first-ever carbon neutral runway show for her namesake brand's <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/fine-jewelry-trends-haute-couture-spring-2020" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Spring/Summer 2020</a> collection.&nbsp;</span></span></p>

<p><span><a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/chloe-resort-2022-gabriela-hearst-upcycling" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Chloé</a>&rsquo;s collective journey towards a purpose-driven model began in June 2020, incorporating its mission "Women Forward. For a Fairer Future" into its corporate status and enforcing it throughout its global teams. Some of the brand's other actions have included creating a sustainability board with external experts, accelerating the transition towards lower impact materials (58 percent on the <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion-week/chloe-spring-summer-2022-collection-gabriela-hearst" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Spring/Summer 2022</a> collection), and launching a volunteer program that encourages employees to spend one day a year working with local NGOs.&nbsp;</span></p>
