The designer's other great asset that made him famous on a global scale was the launch of the <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/beauty/toni-garrn-model-angel-nova-mugler-perfume-interview" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Angel perfume</a> in 1992 which is considered one of the most legendary fragrances of all time.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">As Mugler's perfume business grew, sales for his clothing line began to decline. To circumvent the crisis, Mugler sold his eponymous brand to Clarins. Unfortunately, the luxury group was also unable to maintain production and in 2003 the clothing label closed, leaving only perfumes.</p>
