This year marks the 10th anniversary of the collaboration between Desigual and the inimitable French designer Christian Lacroix.

The first time the French designer Christian Lacroix saw a Desigual coat on the <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/jeanne-damas-it-girl-2018">streets of Paris</a>, he initially believed the creator&nbsp;was part of his own design&nbsp;team.&nbsp;&ldquo;I fell in love with the brand because of their inclusive view of creating clothes for all, and whose inspirations, themes and roots are similar to mine.&nbsp;In addition to our passion for colors, prints, and the patchwork that I am known for,&quot; remembers Lacroix.&nbsp;&quot;Desigual, as I always say, is not as easy to create as it looks. It is a colloquial language, but a language one has to learn and practice. It is&nbsp;made possible by sharing ideas and insights with the team every day.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;

Ten years on, the Barcelona-based brand and the <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/valentino-haute-couture-spring-summer-2021-pierpaolo-piccioli-robert-del-naja">French couturier</a> are still very much enjoying their creative partnership.&nbsp;For the summer of 2021, they are launching a celebratory collection dubbed &quot;Desigual x Monsieur Christian Lacroix Forever: 10 Years Together.&quot;&nbsp;The collection features lavender tones inspired by Lacroix&#39;s home in Arles, France designed with summer vacation in mind. East Asia and the Mediterranean are always top of mind for Lacroix, and these locales translate into the&nbsp;multitude of illustrations, feminine patterns, and nature-based prints featured&nbsp;in the anniversary collection. The capsule is a true ode to Provence, worn here by Camille Razat, a breakout star of <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/emily-in-paris-lily-collins-runway-fashion-netflix">Emily in Paris</a>.&nbsp;
