Ella Emhoff Makes Her NYFW Debut with Proezna Schouler
All eyes have been on Ella Emhoff since she stepped in the limelight as Vice President Kamala Harris' stepdaughter. Her inaugural outfit, designed by Miu Miu, stunned viewers everywhere and ensured that the Parsons School of Design student would be on the fast track to the fashion world. Just weeks after her stepmom was sworn in as Vice President, Emhoff signed with IMG Models, the agency which represents the like of Karlie Kloss, Gisele Bündchen, and the Hadids.
This week, Emhoff surprised the masses with her first-ever modeling debut on Proenza Schouler's Fall/Winter 2021 runway. America's second daughter rocked three stunning looks throughout the label's film presentation and looked like a natural on the catwalk. Proenza Schouler's choice to include Emhoff embodies the brand's intention of creating an empowering collection fit for the modern-day woman. The New York-based label's proclivity for beautiful tailoring and intricate knitwear shined through in this stunning assemblage of pieces.
This is clearly just the beginning for Emhoff, and we can't wait to see what she does next. Check out her first runway looks below.
