Christy Turlington, Isabella Rossellini Take to the Runway for Pucci's Latest Show
Explore Camille Miceli's swirling, sophisticated Spring/Summer 2024 collection for Emilio Pucci.
With the Spring/Summer 2024 collection, creative director Camille Miceli shares the heritage of the historic fashion house, founded by Emilio Pucci in the 1940s, for her second collection for the label. The high-energy runway presentation opened with a stunning appearance by Christy Turlington, with the iconic Italian actress and model Isabella Rossellini closing the show.
The collection chronicles a journey through past, present, and future, starting from the story of the enchanting Eternal City, Rome, where the house has its roots. The classic psychedelic allure of the iconic Pucci motif, with imagery rich in culture, was preeminent in the collection, titled Very Vivara. The Spring/Summer 2024 line intertwines the characteristic sumptuousness and the emblematic lightness of the fashion house, shifting between organic and geometric shapes, and passing through the iconic pattern—Vivara which was created way back in 1965. The show was held at Palazzo Altemps near Piazza Navona, where viewers saw a series of looks, characterized by a classic, comfortable aesthetic, that were embellished with a luxurious touch of glam.
Falling somewhere between history and revolution, Miceli's outing was fresh for the new generation of fashion fans discovering the label, but did not lose sight of the past. Among the other prints, the classic stripes of the Maison, Marmo, Pesci, and Iride, are revitalized through Miceli's new vision.
With this collection, Miceli demonstrates that the story of a brand like Emilio Pucci can be revitalized and refreshed for a modern era.
