Fuschia Took Over the Red Carpet This Season

The 2022 awards season was dominated by bright pink ensembles.

Each year, awards season is filled with highly anticipated celebrity fashion, 2022 especially. Being the first year that awards shows are back in person, everyone is extra eager to show up and show out. Since the return of in-person shows, bright colors have been the trend of the moment. From the SAG Awards to the Critics Choice Awards to the Grammys and Oscars, the red carpets at each ceremony are filled with la crème de la crème of fashion. This year, fuschia—the color of the season—took over the red carpet on each occasion, (undoubtedly inspired by Valentino's pink-laden Fall/Winter 2022 show).
