How Gisele Bündchen Feels About Tom Brady's Return to Football
Following Tom Brady's retirement reversal, Gisele Bündchen has spoken for the first time on the subject: "Here we go again!"
Gisele Bündchen's husband, American football player Tom Brady, recently announced on social media that he is withdrawing from retirement to return to the football field. While many fans wondered how Bündchen felt about the decision, the model appears to be supportive of her husband's choice.
As Brady is considered the greatest football player of all time by many, many within the sports community were thrilled when, on Sunday, Brady revealed that, despite his statement earlier this year that he would be retiring, it's not quite time for him to hang up his jersey just yet.
“These past two months I’ve realized my place is still on the field and not in the stands,” he wrote alongside his Instagram post. “That time will come. But it’s not now. I love my teammates, and I love my supportive family. They make it all possible."
Brady and Bündchen have long been a power duo. Bündchen has been present in her husband's career, appearing at many games, and, as stated by Brady, being one of the main influences in the player's decisions. When the NFL player announced his retirement in February of this year, he noted the final decision on his career would be made after talking to his family and Bündchen.
In the goodbye letter, Brady wrote in Portuguese to the Brazilian model, "I love you love of my life." She also celebrated her husband's long career, describing him as the "most dedicated, focused and mentally strong person" she has ever met. Now, the American quarterback resumes his training and physical preparation routine for games.
Brady and Bündchen have been married for 13 years. Together, the couple has two children together, Vivian and Benjamin, as well as Brady's oldest son from his previous relationship with Bridget Moynahan.
