The latest release from Gucci offers eco-friendly accessories in a cool, relaxing shade.

The revolution for environmental change is well on its way, and <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/guccio-gucci-designer-biography">Gucci</a> is leading the major fashion houses with its latest <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/gucci-sims-off-the-grid-sustainable-video-game">sustainable</a> collection. Named <a href="https://www.gucci.com/us/en/pr/men/bags-for-men/backpacks-for-men/gucci-off-the-grid-backpack-p-626160H9HFN4267">Off The Grid Blue</a>, the new drop focuses on genderless accessories colored in an intense blue indigo, and is an extension of <a href="https://www.gucci.com/us/en/st/capsule/circular-line-off-the-grid">Gucci&rsquo;s Circular Lines program</a>, an ongoing initiative to implement circular production to reducing waste by reintroducing byproducts back into the <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/dries-van-noten-alaia-archive-shop">supply chain.</a>
Arriving as a full-mini accessories wardrobe, the new collection consists of duffle bags, <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/bag-trends-2021-runway-instagram">backpacks</a>, sneakers, and small accessories like wallets, card case, and pouch. Like its first release, each item is thoughtfully made using recycled, organic, bio-based, or sustainably sourced materials like ECONYL.

Gucci Off the Grid Blue

For example, the iconic <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/gucci-epilogue-collection">GG logo </a>stamped throughout the collection is made of 100 percent regenerated polymide, while the Tennis 1977 sneaker has a similarly meticulous construction with ECONYL uppers, recycled steel eyelets, organic cotton and viscose linings. There&rsquo;s the requisite backpack and weekender for luggage&mdash;for stowing overhead or just wearing it around your city&mdash;that feature metal- and chrome-free leather trims and recycled brass hardware. Nothing is sacrificed to make the bags sustainable&mdash;even the sewing thread is made from recycled PET bottles.
The aesthetic is decidedly functional, but the vibrant shade incorporates the brand's flights of fancy. The entire Off the Grid&nbsp;collection comes in FSC-certifiedpackaging, including a card that details information of the product as well as the story behind the project.
