Gucci Expands its DIY Service to Include Knits
Gucci’s DIY—Do It Yourself—service invites customers to express themselves by customizing their Gucci items in a way that reflects their personalities. Besides personalizing Ace sneakers and signature bag styles (including the Dionysus, Sylvie, and Ophidia) in diverse colors and materials, customers now can create their own unique knits too.
The knitwear DIY package allows shoppers to choose from three styles (crew neck, shawl collar bomber, and button-through cardigan) and four base colors (green, blue, red and white). The retro-inspired unisex designs will then be personalized with a choice of letters that will be intarsia-knitted into the garments instead of being appliqué'd through the use of patches.
