Heidi Klum Has Million-Dollar Insurance for Her Legs
German model Heidi Klum has just revealed she has an insurance policy for her legs—and one is worth more than the other.
When you think about taking out insurance on your home, car, health, or some of the first things that likely come to mind, Heidi Klum takes that idea to another level. In an interview on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, the German model revealed that she has a million-dollar insurance plan for her legs. In fact, one leg of hers is worth more than the other.
The model was taking part in a prank on the show when she said on the big screen, "My legs were insured for $2 million... another body part that should also be insured is..." The model revealed that it wasn't her who took out the insurance, but rather a client, just before explaining that each of her legs is worth different amounts.
According to the model, the difference in worth comes from a childhood injury that left a mark. "When I was younger I fell on a shard of glass and I got a really big scar," revealed Klum. "Obviously I put so much suntan lotion on it that now it's impossible to see anything." Jokingly, she even says, "it's weird the things some people do."
In 2017, Klum had already spoken about the matter to People. According to the publication, in 2011, her legs were insured for $2.2 million, with one worth $1.2 million and the other $1 million.
