Herm&egrave;s's&nbsp; Fall/Winter 2024&nbsp; collection during Paris Fashion Week demonstrated the craftsmanship and heritage of the&nbsp;Maison, where leather and fur were the protagonists.

With drops of water cascading down the side of the catwalk, <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/travel-living/herbert-guerrand-hermes-sothebys-auction-paris-marie-antoinette-versailles" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Herm&egrave;s</a> managed to recreate a rainy day in the city. The creative director, Nad&egrave;ge Vanhee-Cybulski, who was design director at The Row and had stints at C&eacute;line and Maison Margiela, presented a minimalist collection with classic and elegant garments that demonstrated the house's love for leather.
Monochromatic sets in burgundy and reddish tones opened the show, which gradually mutated into brown, beige, and pastel yellow colors to culminate in totally black looks. The collection proved to be a wintery and subtle collection that stands out through the combination of textures and the meticulous construction of the garments.

Leather was mixed with knit and fur textures perfectly in jackets, coats, <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/shopping/knit-sweaters-fall-winter-fashion-shopping" target="_blank" rel="noopener">sweaters</a>, pants, and skirts. Among the accessories were the famed Kelly and Birkin bags, the simple yet well-crafted belts, thick ring bands, and the long all-terrain boots that classically represent a Herm&egrave;s girl.
