It's no secret that Kaia Gerber, rising top model, and daughter of legendary super Cindy Crawford, has successfully won over the fashion industry. After making her debut at New York Fashion Week last year, Gerber has since walked for several major shows—including Prada and Tom Ford—a feat most models only dream of accomplishing. But in addition to her pending runway appearances at Paris Fashion Week 2018, Gerber is also starring in her first-ever Chanel campaign. Clearly, the girl is unstoppable.
The Spring 2018 ads feature Gerber luxuriously lounging in Chanel's actual apartment. Carrying the latest (and transparent PVC) rendition of the 11.12 bag, it emits traditional Chanel elegance and practicality with a modern edge. The accompanying images showcase other it-bags like the Gabrielle and the Boy, styled perfectly and instantly recognizable.
Choosing Kaia to star in the campaign is a fitting choice considering she has an upcoming capsule collection in the works with Lagerfeld and his eponymous label. Talk about a match made in fashion heaven.
