Matthew Williams' debut colleciton for Givenchy has been rolling out into the real world all day, first to Kendall Jenner, then fashion icons like Noami Campbell and Lauren Dern, Gen Z supergirls like Kaia Gerber and Euphoria's Barbie Ferreria came next, and now the original internet-breaker: Kim K.
Just as sister Jenner, the media mogul has long been a friend of the fashion house, having collaborated with former creative director Riccardo Tisci time and time again. As of today, it seems new alliances have been formed. Photographed at home, Kardashian West shared a sultry shot from the side, bearing her cut-out back (a favorite detail from Hubert Givenchy) and Williams' cheeky twist straight from the 2000s: a bright red whale tale, or rather exposed thong.
Her decision to debut such a decisive piece like the Givenchy G-string from Tisci and Clare Waight Keller's successor underscores the reality of the fashion business and that perhaps some things are indeed thicker than blood. And they're diamond encrusted.
