Kristen Stewart Says She Scared Celebrities at the Met Gala 2021
Kristen Stewart blamed the mishap on a wardrobe malfunction with her look.
About to play the eternal Princess Diana in theaters in the new film by Pablo Larraín, Kristen Stewart has some great stories to tell, and many of them about fashion. According to her, at the 2021 Met Gala, the actress appeared on the red carpet in a white Chanel look with a lace blouse, pants, a pink jacket filled with metallic flowers, and a small black bow.
Despite the impeccable ensemble, not everything went as planned. In an interview with People, Kristen admitted that her outfit had a slight technical defect that left other guests scared.
Shortly after the red carpet, the star headed inside The Metropolitan Museum of Art to join the other Chanel guests at the table, when she decided to take her jacket off over her top—an idea that turned out to be a bad move. "So I'm at the Met Gala and I find a group at the Chanel table. There was a beautiful tennis player [Emma Raducanu] and an actress [Whitney Peak from Gossip Girl]."
She continued, “I'm talking to them, saying, 'I've been here a few times,' and they look scared. I look down and literally my [nipple] is in their faces. I was like, 'Okay, sorry'. They were like, 'Who is this crazy Met Gala actress?' This will be a story for them when they get older."
