Stop the presses: Loewe's first New York store has finally opened. Located on Greene Street in SoHo, this shop-slash-art-space is bright and eclectic, displaying a variety of Loewe products as well as work from eight different artists. The new Loewe store carries men's and women's ready-to-wear, as well as accessories and shoes.

Loewe originated in Spain in 1846. Since 2013, the house has been under creative director Jonathan Anderson, whose focus has been on culture and craft. The Spring 2020 show during Paris Fashion Week blew the fashion world away with its expert construction, taking inspiration from 16th and 17th-century silhouettes. Some of the VIP guests rocked looks from the collection while celebrating on Tuesday night, and it will be exciting to see the pieces hanging alongside the iconic leather goods and modern craft in Loewe's first New York store once the collection hits the market.

The launch celebration consisted of drinks at the store, followed by a holiday party at the Sinclair-Fletcher Mansion on the Upper East Side. The soirée attracted a wide range of guests in the fashion and entertainment worlds, from Charlie Plummer to Kaia Gerber to Megan Rapinoe.

Launching just after Art Basel, the new Loewe store opening helped to keep the power of fashion and art collaboration going. Last week, the Loewe Foundation presented its fifth iteration of the Chance Encounters exhibition series in Miami's Design District neighborhood, displaying the brand's continued commitment to supporting the arts.

Visit the beautiful new space for yourself at 79 Greene Street.
