After presenting the collections of the Spanish Maison using alternative and state-of-the-art formats, <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/jw-anderson-interview-mens-spring-summer-2022-cruise-photos" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Jonathan Anderson</a> returned to <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/men/trends-from-paris-fashion-week-men-spring-summer-2022" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Paris Fashion Week</a> with his Spring/Summer 2022 collection. T<span style="background-color: transparent; font-family: inherit; font-size: inherit; font-style: inherit; font-variant-ligatures: inherit; font-variant-caps: inherit; font-weight: inherit; letter-spacing: 0px;">he <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion-week/loewe-spring-summer-2022-jonathan-anderson-photos" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Loewe</a> collection was inspired by the artistic languages of Renaissance painter Pontormo as Anderson directs a study on the notions of drapery, sculpture, and color through twists, deviations, and distortions of the fabrics. The focus of the collection was on volumes and shapes. He analytically examined the space between the dress and the body, as if to upset the empty space that forms between the dress and the human being. Anderson evaluated absurd interpretations and reconverts the silhouettes almost as if he had to divide the collection into chapters.

Loewe's Spring/Summer 2022 collection included evanescent prints, sculptural draperies of fabrics, bodices of dresses plated in metal or resin, and rearranged slits with ruffles. Anderson's lexicon evolves into the <span style="background-color: transparent; font-family: inherit; font-size: inherit; font-style: inherit; font-variant-ligatures: inherit; font-variant-caps: inherit; font-weight: inherit; letter-spacing: 0px;">"neurotic, psychedelic, completely hysterical."&nbsp;<span style="background-color: transparent; font-family: inherit; font-size: inherit; font-style: inherit; font-variant-ligatures: inherit; font-variant-caps: inherit; font-weight: inherit; letter-spacing: 0px;">Capes recalled the ergonomics of a beetle's wings and shape a new type of woman who resembles a protagonist of an erotic manga. Everything is upset, repositioned, flipped, and rotated. <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/outerwear-trends-coats-jackets-fall-winter-2021" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Trench coats</a> became dresses, and pants with puffy knees, holes, and fabric subtractions take the appearance of a slit. Denim becomes liquid and blends on jackets with hoods, while <span style="background-color: transparent; font-family: inherit; font-size: inherit; font-style: inherit; font-variant-ligatures: inherit; font-variant-caps: inherit; font-weight: inherit; letter-spacing: 0px;">sequins adorn sweaters, dresses and miniskirts.

Anderson also offered a glamorous version of d&eacute;collet&eacute; and sandals that transform the heel into inverted roses, colored soaps, birthday candles, eggs, and nail polishes. Not a simple stylistic exercise, but a real setting of different, experimental, and renewed archetypes.
