L'OFFICIEL Art debuts at Art Basel HK 2023 after celebrating 10 years of existence by building on the century-old legacy of L'OFFICIEL SAS Inc.
The 2023 edition of HK Art Basel (March 21-25) marks the city's most anticipated art event since 2019: 177 exhibitors from 32 countries and territories return to the Hong Kong cultural hub to showcase new works unique and exciting to visitors and collectors around the world. On this occasion, L'OFFICIEL Art is proud to present its very first magazine stand alongside the exhibition of works of art from around the world.

On the occasion of the debut of L'OFFICIEL at Art Basel Hong Kong, was present Alison Lo , new head of cultural affairs and international markets of the AMTD Digital Media and Entertainment group (AMTD Digital Inc. subsidiary of the AMTD IDEA group) and of L'OFFICIEL SAS Inc. Professional in strategy, diplomacy and multilingualism, she has a prolific experience in the world's main artistic centers (Hong Kong, London and Berlin) in terms of sustainable partnerships in the arts and culture sector. culture. With over ten years of experience in high-level policy advice and project management, she has developed a strong network with artists, art institutions, international organizations, government departments, private companies, academia and media. She recently obtained a master's degree in contemporary art at the Sotheby's Institute of Art (2022) in London, where she worked as an art consultant, journalist and curator. Founded in 1970, Art Basel is defined by its host city and region, and its Hong Kong counterpart is unique in that it reflects the exhibitors from Asia who attend. This year's event is made up of nine sectors: Galleries - 20th and 21st century works from 134 modern and contemporary art galleries; Insights – where 19 galleries from the Asia-Pacific region will present projects specially curated for the event; Discoveries - solo projects by emerging talent internationally; Encounters - presentation of large-scale sculptures, installations and performances; Kabinett - focused on diverse thematic concepts; Film - with eight screenings of 29 films; Conversations - around topics related to the global contemporary art scene; and Magazines - with art journals and publications from around the world and where visitors will discover AMTD L'OFFICIEL Art - which will also be part of the Exchange Circle (understand, circle of exchange) - an open platform for presentations short and experimental.
