The beloved Italian label is settling down in New York City&mdash;but only for a few weeks.&nbsp;

On Oct. 17, Loro Piana lit up 5th Avenue as its intricately designed display whirred to life in the storefront of Bergdorf Goodman. The seasonal installation&mdash;featuring whimsical animated elements and a range of exclusive products, plus the label's holiday collection&mdash;takes over the windows of the men&rsquo;s and women&rsquo;s stores in the luxury retailer, bringing the refined, sophisticated legacy of Loro Piana to New York City.
The exclusive products include a wide range of selections, highlighting Loro Piana&rsquo;s distinct visual codes, ethos of craft, and pursuit of excellence&mdash;in both garment quality and design. For women, the label&rsquo;s signature knits and sophisticated spirit are in full swing. Between buttery soft cashmere garments and a wide range of handbags and accessories&mdash;including an animal-print cloche hat&mdash;garments are understated, elegant, and effortlessly chic. Meanwhile, the exclusive men&rsquo;s collection includes thoughtfully designed pieces like classic wool overshirts and gently tailored trousers.
Both the men&rsquo;s and women&rsquo;s products were created in a distinct color palette, including signature shades of red, classic beige, and plenty of gentle neutrals.&nbsp;

The storefront animation, which is guided by light mapping and architecturally enhancing design elements, features the Loro Piana story from its conception in the Mongolian landscape&mdash;the site the label sources its cashmere from&mdash;to the house&rsquo;s Quarona factory, where artisans begin work on masterfully crafted pieces. The additional Art Deco-style artwork and ornamentation in the windows enhance the complete picture of the label&rsquo;s identity, drawing on its history and connection with New York City.
Beyond the enchanting majesty of the storefront installation and the alluring sophistication of the exclusive products, the Italian label has also brought with it the very best in Loro Piana artisanship, as evidenced in custom embroidery options for the Grande Unita scarf and the Unito blanket.
The Loro Piana holiday installation and exclusive selection of products is available at Bergdorf Goodman&rsquo;s flagship NYC store from Oct. 17 to Nov. 3.
