The Road to Loro Piana's "Into the Wild" Capsule Collection

The enduring relationship between nature and Loro Piana is strengthened through their new collection. But what happens when the focus on nature emerges not only from the materials but rather from the garments intended for outdoor activities that are designed for the person themself? Taking on a different vision based on sporting and experiential performances, the brand presents the Women's and Men's Fall/Winter 2024 "Into The Wild" collection, which proudly explores the world of hiking and the outdoors.
This line for women and men offers a series of garments, accessories, and objects dedicated to hiking that respond to the call of adventure found within nature. Loro Piana's layered wardrobe collection "Into The Wild" is made up of bomber jackets, hooded parkas, windbreakers, waterproof capes, vests, sweaters, trousers, leggings, and shorts designed for exhilarating days spent in nature. It is also versatile enough to be used in a more everyday context. The garments have the ability to add or remove layers depending on the need and the occasion, while the colors reflect general themes of nature with rosemary, sage green, coffee, sand, coral, and periwinkle in addition to the traditional neutrals of the brand.
Technical fabrics act as the centerpiece for the "Into The Wild" collection, where garments are made of fine silks and cashmere, such as Curly Cashfur and Coarsehair treated with Rain System—signature Loro Piana materials. These textiles are processed to resist different climate conditions due to the use of membrane techniques—including a high-tech, ultra-effective graphene membrane—with three layers that offer protection from the wind, cold, and rain.
The development of the materials are the result of a collaboration between Loro Piana and ROA, a cutting-edge brand in the outdoor clothing sector. The partnership has also given life to a model of hiking footwear with gender-neutral styles. The collection also includes gloves, neck-warming scarves, bucket hats, socks, and technical backpacks. To round off the outdoor-inspired line, Loro Piana presents a series of products dedicated to hiking, including a sleeping bag and a canvas-leather camping chair with a sumptuous wooden frame and chic striped details.
