The Tambour Horizon Light Up prioritises customization and user experience.&nbsp;

Releasing today, <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/louis-vuitton-holiday-campaign-2021-roman-coppola" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Louis Vuitton</a>&rsquo;s new <a href="https://us.louisvuitton.com/eng-us/stories/tambour-horizon-light-up#" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Tambour Horizon Light Up</a> watch reimagines the Maison&rsquo;s venture into connected <a href="https://preview.lofficielusa.com/watches/louis-vuitton-smartwatch-2019" target="_blank" rel="noopener">watches</a> with an updated operating system, improved design and technology, and increased customization opportunities.&nbsp;
With its third generation connected watch, the Maison creates a new paragon of luxury smart watches. The Tambour Horizon Light Up features a custom-made operating system, the first non-Apple system to be accredited as &ldquo;made for iPhone.&rdquo; The watch is also compatible with Android and HarmonyOS smartphones.&nbsp;
The system functions based on a system of swipes. If a wearer swipes right, a screen called &ldquo;My Day&rdquo; will appear, showing an agenda, the weather, step count, and air quality. A swipe down shows notifications, a control panel of the watch&rsquo;s manner of functions&mdash;alarm, timers, music, Alipay. A swipe left takes the user to &ldquo;My Travel&rdquo; where they can find travel plans, boarding passes, and 30 expertly curated city guides&mdash;made by Louis Vuitton.

Along with updated software, the watch also prioritizes customization. The face&mdash;a 44mm sapphire glass screen fitted with 24 LED lights behind the Louis Vuitton Monogram ring&mdash;has eight built-in dial configurations to select from. A striped animation&mdash;designed in honour of the Maison&rsquo;s iconic trunks&mdash;and a configuration of Vivienne, the Maison's <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/why-do-luxury-brands-have-mascots-fendi-louis-vuitton" target="_blank" rel="noopener">mascot</a>, are two of the eight configuration displays offered and can be displayed in a myriad of colors, including 11 new gradients. Customers can also add their own initials to the watch in their choice of color and typeface.&nbsp;
As the year progresses, the brand plans to introduce additional watch face designs in accordance with collaborations, seasons, fashion shows, and important days of the year.
The watch also is fitted with an all-day battery, four modes&mdash;blossom, explorer, submarine, saver&mdash;to accommodate different needs and usage through controlling the watch&rsquo;s animations.
At the launch, three versions of the watch will be displayed: polished steel, matte black, and matte brown&mdash;with the latter being an ode to Louis Vuitton&rsquo;s iconic brown-monogram. Both the black and brown models are fitted with high-end PVD finishes, with the black having a titanium crown and lugs.
