Maryling Fall 2018 a journey into modern art—an abstract area between feminine and masculine full of essential shapes and colors. The collection came to life thanks to geometric shapes and a 3D elegance, but not only the colors dominated the catwalk. Citing Paloma Picasso as a muse, designer Avshalom Gur's palate exhibited a chromatic rainbow that comes of red, burgundy, velvet blue, classic black and pure white, which creates a dialogue with other bold, original and saturated colors.
Also presented were maxi soft sweaters, overcoats, and jackets. The contemporary couture of Maryling is the right balance between modern art and the real world with roots planted in the earth. This collection fully reflects the aesthetic vision of its creative director, while also remaining desirable, simple and courageous.
