Miu Miu Teams Up With Director Janicza Bravo on 'House Comes With a Bird'
Film director Janicza Bravo will direct the new film in Miu Miu’s Women’s Tales series.
Miu Miu has just announced that Janicza Bravo is the director of "House Comes With A Bird," the latest installment of the brand's short film series Women’s Tales. Bravo is an acclaimed American film director known for her films Zola, Lemon, and Gregory Go Boom, the latter of which won the short-film jury award at the 2014 Sundance Film Festival.
"House Comes With A Bird" is the latest short film in Miu Miu’s series of female-directed and -acted films that focus both on femininity and female issues. The project stars Kelsey Lu, Natasha Lyonne, Pedro Pascal, Katherine Waterston, and Poorna Jagannathan.
Bravo is the latest addition to Miu Miu’s long list of accomplished female directors such as Ava DuVernay, Kaouther Ben Hania, Isabel Sandoval, and many more. "House Comes With A Bird" will premiere today in Los Angeles and will be available for public viewing online on March 24.
