Dior's spellbinding campaign for its Cruise 2021 collection is a tribute to the traditional arts and crafts of the Italian region of Puglia.

<a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/dior-couture-fall-2020-surrealist-collection">Dior</a> has unveiled new images and videos of its&nbsp;campaign for the French house&#39;s&nbsp;Cruise 2021&nbsp;fashion collection, which&nbsp;paid homage to the richness of Puglia, Italy. The collection, which&nbsp;<a href="https://www.lofficielsingapore.com/fashion/dior-s-cruise-2021-collection-was-an-ode-to-culture-and-community">was first shown&nbsp;earlier in July this year</a>, at the Pizza del Duomo in Lecce, continues artistic director <a href="https://www.vogue.com/article/maria-grazia-chiuri-dior-lecce">Maria Grazia Chiuri</a>&#39;s&nbsp;homage to cullture and community, and this time, with a little bit of magic realism.&nbsp;

The campaign images, which were photographed by Hong Kong-based artist&nbsp;<a href="https://www.leanlui.com/">Lean Lui</a>&#39;s&nbsp;lens,&nbsp;captured the magic and power of ancient rites that perpetuated to this day. Shot amidst the untamed landscapes of <a href="https://www.neverendingvoyage.com/lecce-italy-travel-guide/">Lecce</a>, Dior&#39;s savoire-faire is celebrated here; where&nbsp;models come in delicate dresses in precious laces long skirts inspired by traditional Italian dresses and corsets as emblems of reinvented femininity. While the video (shown above and&nbsp;directed by <a href="http://baron-baron.com/fashion/dior/">Fabien Baron</a>, presents the fashion&nbsp;collection in dusty, sun-drenched landscapes, accompanied by a performance of the pizzica tarantata, a liberating and spellbinding folk ritual in which a spider&rsquo;s bite leads to a healing song and dance.
