Seven new references bring streamlined dials, precious metals, diamonds, and the unmistakable codes of Omega’s legendary chronograph to a more compact silhouette.

For more than half a century, the Omega Speedmaster has been synonymous with enduring design and luxury, and its latest chapter is decidedly more grounded in personal style; what the consumer sees most fit for themselves.&nbsp;
Omega has officially expanded its Speedmaster 38 mm family with seven new watches that reinterpret the chronograph through a mix of stainless steel, colored dials, proprietary gold alloys, and diamonds. Although the new lineup draws heavily from the historic Moonwatch, its smaller proportions and more decorative finishes offer a refined alternative to the original watch.
The updates begin with the dial. Omega has exchanged the former oval counters for circular subdials, reduced the amount of text, and widened the bezel. A “Dot Over Ninety, a detail recognizable to serious Speedmaster collectors, strengthens the connection to earlier Moonwatch designs. Five-link metal bracelets complete all seven watches, with finishes that vary across the collection.
The black-dial steel model bears the strongest resemblance to the traditional Moonwatch, pairing a matte surface with a black aluminum bezel and white luminous details. It is also the only version without a date window. Another steel option places blue-coated hands and indexes against a lacquered white dial, while a blue ceramic bezel adds further contrast.

A third stainless steel design introduces warmer tones through a gray aluminum bezel, silvery opaline dial, and Sedna Gold-colored details. The effect is softer and more jewelry-like without abandoning the Speedmaster’s athletic foundation.
That balance becomes even more apparent across the two bicolor watches. The first incorporates Omega’s yellow-toned Moonshine Gold alongside green and silver accents. The second revisits the collection’s “cappuccino” color story with an ivory dial, brown subdials, and touches of rose-toned Sedna Gold.
For those who enjoy a more flashy option, Omega offers two diamond-set interpretations. One features an ice-blue dial, while the other uses luminous white mother-of-pearl. Each bezel contains 52 diamonds totaling 1.53 carats.&nbsp;
According to Omega President and CEO Raynald Aeschlimann, the redesign deepens the 38 mm collection’s relationship with the Moonwatch while maintaining the qualities that have always distinguished the smaller range.
Rather than reinventing one of watchmaking’s most recognizable creations, Omega offers a thoughtful ode to the original, one that honors its legacy while allowing the icon to evolve.
