        <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The Louis Vuitton trunk is one of the most iconic luxury items beloved by all. </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">For more than 35 years, Louis Vuitton has crafted trunks combining ingenious design, artisanal know-how and avant-garde vision for the world's most iconic sporting competitions. T</span><span style="font-weight: 400;">he M&eacute;dailles trunks are inspired by the famous Coiffeuse trunk and are showcased in its signature Monogram canvas. Crafted to hold the Olympic and Paralympic medals designed by jewelry house Chaumet, 468 trunks will be awarded to Olympians this year. The Torches trunks, made to hold the Olympic torches, echo the legendary hat box from 1895 whose exterior features Damier canvas which dates back to 1888. Like every piece crafted in the Asni&egrave;res workshops since 1859, the M&eacute;dailles and Torches trunks inaugurate a new chapter in the history of the house illustrating, once again, its motto: </span><i style="font-family: -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, 'Segoe UI', Roboto, Oxygen, Ubuntu, Cantarell, 'Open Sans', 'Helvetica Neue', sans-serif; background-color: #ffffff; font-size: 0.9375rem; font-weight: 400; letter-spacing: 0px;"><span>&ldquo;</span></i><span style="font-weight: 400;">Victory travels in Louis Vuitton.</span><i style="font-family: -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, 'Segoe UI', Roboto, Oxygen, Ubuntu, Cantarell, 'Open Sans', 'Helvetica Neue', sans-serif; background-color: #ffffff; font-size: 0.9375rem; font-weight: 400; letter-spacing: 0px;"><span>&rdquo;</span></i><span style="font-weight: 400;">&nbsp;Around 30 brand employees are participating in the Olympic Torch Relay, demonstrating Louis Vuitton's commitment to sport.</span></p>
        <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">In 2022, <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/a-comprehensive-history-of-maison-louis-vuitton">Louis Vuitton</a> held an exhibition called &ldquo;200 Trunks, 200 Visionaries: The Exhibition&rdquo; in New York City at Barney&rsquo;s as its final stop on its international tour. The exhibit started in France and traveled to Singapore and Los Angeles before landing in New York. The project invited a mosaic of talents and friends spanning arts and culture, the sciences, sports, global causes, and more.&nbsp;</span></p>
        <p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">The significance of the LV trunks has also attracted avid collectors, with one collector amassing more than 100 versions of the marque&rsquo;s signature case. Last month, <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/travel-living/christies-vintage-louis-vuitton-trunk-collection-auction">Christie&rsquo;s</a> offered the largest private collection of Louis Vuitton trunks to ever show at auction. It featured pieces created slightly after the label&rsquo;s founding in 1854 as well as contemporary versions. It was estimated to bring in 1.4 million euros to 2.1 million euros at auction but ended up being sold for</span><span style="font-weight: 400;"> 2,367,792 euros. Just like the many trunks before it, the Torches and Medailles <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/fashion-brands-designing-2024-olympics-uniforms-paris">Olympic</a> trunks will also be sure to go down in history as one of the greats.</span></p>
