In partnership with fashion expert Nick Wooster, the young brand releases its first military-inspired capsule collection.

Established in 2019, the young Japanese fashion brand&nbsp;<a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/onitsuka-tiger-year-of-the-tiger-chinese-zodiac-capsule-collection" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Onitsuka Tiger</a> recently launched its first-ever capsule collection in collaboration with <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/travel-living/nick-wooster-home-tour-hudson-yards-nyc" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Nick Wooster</a>. The collection takes inspiration from <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/politics-culture/ukrainian-fashion-designers-response-russian-military-invasion-activism" target="_blank" rel="noopener">military wear</a>, Wooster's specialty, and keeps a <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/beauty/beauty-trends-spring-summer-2023-haute-couture-runways" target="_blank" rel="noopener">minimalistic</a> appeal throughout. The color scheme ranges from white, black, and green, while the silhouettes are rugged yet simple. <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/shopping/bomber-jackets-shopping-fall-winter-style" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Bomber jackets</a> and skirt pants are both staples of the collection, and there are four shoe models as well:&nbsp;Wigurve&trade;, a military green sneaker, Studded Derby, a studded, punkish loafer, Wigurve&trade; Side Gore Boot, a white boot with a platform sole, and Brogue Chukka, a white, mid-cut&nbsp;chukka boot with a ribbed sole.&nbsp;
In celebration of the collection, the brand held an event in Beverly Hills, California on April 13.

"When creating something, my approach is to complete a whole style first," says Wooster. "This capsule collection was constructed by combining a bomber jacket with skirt pants as the base.&nbsp;I have also focused on a minimalist palette, by limiting the colors to white, black, and military&nbsp;green, which unifies the styles. For the shoes, I've studied the history of Onitsuka Tiger, which&nbsp;started in 1949, and updated their classic style with my own interpretation."

Musician and influencer Nez made a surprise appearance for Jamie Jones' performance at <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/celebrity-looks-coachella-2023-music-festival" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Coachella</a> this past Friday wearing the&nbsp;Wigurve&trade; Side Gore Boot from the new collection.
These products are available now at The Onitsuka and Onitsuka Tiger stores in six countries: Japan, the U.S., the UK, Italy, China, and Singapore.
