Pride and fashion go hand-in-hand like no other. Pride is a time to showcase self-expression and freedom. What better way to do that than with fashion? Here are some designers who are showing their pride this month and supporting LGBTQ+ communities.

Marimekko will be the main partner of Helenski Pride 2022. Along with the festivities, the brand will release a four-item capsule in a blend of Unikko (“poppy”) and Sateenkaari (“rainbow”) print. In 1979, Maija Isola created the rainbow print for Marimekko. Four decades later, Isola’s print will be accentuated on the pieces of the collection.

The collection features several Kate Spade accessories adorned in rainbow hearts and one grey crewneck. 10 percent of the net profits from the Rainbow collection will be donated to The Trevor Project, which will help provide mental health resources to LGBTQ+ youth.

For pride, the sneakers are now adorned in classic Baja East prints, Bajawood and Malibu Wild Horse. A fraction of the profits will be forwarded to the Ali Forney Center.

The Ami de Couer Rainbow Jumper is embroidered with the Ami logo in an alpaca and merino wool blend. The second is made with a similar wool blend and labeled the Cropped Cable Jumper. The piece is inspired by a cropped sweater from the Ami runway. On June 18, for the first time ever, 500 NFT versions of the cropped cable jumble will be made available online for sale. 100 percent of the earnings will go to the Kaleidoscope Trust, an organization chosen by Daley.
