Quilted, padded, and puffed-up fabrics were all over last fall's runways, and recent collections predict that the trend will continue into the Fall/Winter 2021 season. Not only will we see quilted jackets and vests, but also sweaters, overalls, skirts, and accessories.
French <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion-week/chanel-haute-couture-spring-summer-2021-family-virginie-viard" target="_blank" rel="noopener">fashion house Chanel</a> stitched its signature camellias into quilted zip-up mini dresses, while Dior introduced padded coats quilted with the cannage motif. At Max Mara and Herm&egrave;s, classic diamond and square patterns were used, while <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion-week/miu-miu-fall-winter-2021-collection-runway-fashion-show" target="_blank" rel="noopener">looks at Miu Miu</a> were accented with a whimsical wavy stitch.

Quilted or padded accessories can also be seen in the Fall/Winter 2021 collections. While <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion-week/bottega-veneta-fall-2020-runway-show" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Daniel Lee's Bottega Veneta</a> continues making a splash via exaggerated padding on its quilted bags and shoes, Louis Vuitton also presented bags with a square-stitched quilt pattern, and Thom Browne opted for an oversized sportier version of the trend.
Whether going simple with a padded vest or all-out in a snow suit &agrave; la Miu Miu, you're sure to be cozy as temperatures drop.
