The British fashion house appoints award-winning Chinese actress Tang Wei as its latest global brand ambassador.

<a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/tags/burberry" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Burberry</a> is entering a new era by surrounding itself with A-list talent from around the world. Chinese actress Tang Wei has played many major roles. But her latest shifts focus from her on-screen skills to her style prowess as Burberry's new global brand ambassador. Under Creative Director <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/daniel-lee-burberry-debut-new-logo" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Daniel Lee</a>'s reinvention of the brand, Wei is furthering her spotlight across industries and the globe.
 Wei's performances in works such as Late Autumn, The Golden Era, Crossing Hennessy, and Decision to Leave have received international acclaim and won her prestigious awards both in China and abroad. Among these distinctions, the Golden Horse Award for Best New Performer, the Best Actress Award at the Beijing College Student Film Festival, the China Film Directors' Guild Award for Actress of the Year, the Asian Film Award for Best Actress, the Korean Blue Dragon Film Award for Best Actress and two Korean Arts Awards for Best Actress. In particular, the film Decision to Leave, in which she plays a leading role, was recently nominated for the Palme d'Or at the 75th Cannes Film Festival and received the Best Director Award.
