On the first day of New York Fashion Week, Tiffany & Co. hosted an intimate presentation in its newly renovated Landmark on Fifth Avenue exclusively unveiling designs from its latest Blue Book 2023. The evening was done in a first-time partnership with Givenchy, as models walked in Tiffany & Co. jewelry paired with Givenchy Haute Couture looks.

It was a match made in heaven, as both the high jeweler and fashion house are the epitome of sophistication and elegance—a reputation they’ve claimed since being founded.

Continuing Nathalie Verdeille’s - Tiffany & Co.'s chief artistic officer of jewelry and high jewelry - vision from her first Blue Book inspired by the sea, the designs pay homage to Jean Schlumberger’s aquatic-inspired works and his fascination with marine life. In addition to the existing themes of Shell, Coral, Pisces, Star Urchin, and Starfish, a new theme of Sea Anemone is explored.

As for Givenchy, the French Maison presented 15 looks that showcased archival signatures in a contemporary fashion, further enhancing the glamour and allure of the jewels. The 15 Haute Couture designs were unveiled alongside five ready-to-wear pieces from the Givenchy Fall/Winter 2023 collection.

The presented creations were inspired by Hubert de Givenchy’s designs in honor of his friends, family, muses, and clients across Paris, New York, and Hollywood (with a subtle nod to Audrey Hepburn and Breakfast at Tiffany's). From the proportion to the form, the gowns were a perfect recreation of the signatures of Givenchy whilst still offering a modern vision.

But it was Tiffany & Co.'s high jewelry collection that truly shined, with every detail, motif, intricate cut, and delicate shape able to be appreciated by the audience of over 200. While the designs are impeccably crafted, there is a whimsicality and inherent playfulness to them, providing a sense of ease throughout the collection.

The full fall expression of Blue Book 2023: Out of the Blue will launch this October in Shanghai, China.
